TELL US ALL ABOUT YOU!My name is Nick. I am from Michigan, Grand Rapids area if you are curious. I am twenty years old and umm I don’t know what you want me to say really. I am in Milwaukee for college and I am holding down a job at the movie theatre to have spending money. What do you want to know about me?
I’m studying at the local college, writing if you are curious. I just turned twenty three months ago and am starting my junior year of college. I want to be a writer someday but at this point getting a real job in anything would be nice. I am a big reader and writer, but you’d guess that from my major. I love music and dabble in playing the drums. I am kind of a movie buff so working at the theatre is a pretty nice setup. I like art but can’t draw to save my life. And you should probably never trust me to keep a plant alive, black thumbs.
I am not a big fan of extreme heat and sun because I burn so I’ll be staying in northern state forever. I grew up with three younger sisters so I really value privacy and quiet, thing I never got back home. My dad works as a professor at the local college and would be ecstatic if I decided that I wanted to teach, but to tell you the truth I don’t like people in general. I find most people stupid, loud, and annoying, sure there are people who I change my mind about but in general that is where I stand.
If you want personality traits I guess introverted is a good one, I don’t like to put myself out there because I don’t like it when people judge me. Don’t get me wrong I like criticism, just not to my face. I’m a hard worker, I hold down a job and sixteen or seventeen credits a semester. I am definitely more right brained, artistic, not so much step by step or detail oriented, but no one thinks with just one part of their brain so whatever. I’m loyal and pretty reliable, except in matters of time, where if I’m not very early I’ll probably forget to go somewhere and I have no sense of direction.
I said I grew up with three younger sisters? Brittany is eighteen and graduated a year early to study Law at U of M. but I’m proud of her even if she makes me look like a slacker. Anna is sixteen, just learning to drive, and a really great artist who has shown some of her work at the DIA. The baby of the family is Sara who is only eleven and looks to be the sporty kid since she somehow juggles soccer, swimming, and basketball.
My dad, Daniel, works at the local college; he is head of the biology department. Usually he teaches things in the plant and animal fields but he can do BMS as well. He made sure that all of his kids take school seriously and definitely made sure that I was more prepared for college than most freshman. My mom, Cindy, works a nurse at the hospital. She was always home when we came home from school, even if she had to work on Saturdays to get in all her hours.wow, i'm glad to be joining UNTOUCHED. my name just so happens to be jess but you can call me almost anything, and the celebrity who i am using just so happens to be david henrie. i've been doing this for six or seven years, so i pretty much know how this all works.
Anya sat on a chair pulled up to the table in the Magic Box, slowly swinging her legs back and forth, and each time her legs went forward they made a small thump against the table leg. She was slowly dying of boredom. The Scooby gang had missed the graying Watcher while he had been away, even Anya who had just gotten in to the swing of managing the Magic Box without Giles’ help, and had decided on a big shindig to welcome him back to Sunnydale. If the Magic Box had to be closed early, and the decorating process interrupting customers all day, the least the man in question could do would be to arrive on time.
Quickly becoming tired of swinging her legs Anya stood up from the table and made her way to the counter, which she leaned against. She took an extra balloon that she had kept out of a pocket and began to blow it up. When the balloon was nearly full to the bursting point Anya let the air out slowly, so that it made a humming sound as the gas escaped. She repeated this process a few more times before she was bored again. Checking her wrist for a watch Anya remembered that she didn’t wear one. She looked meaningfully at the patch of skin exposed by her three quarter length blouse and decided that it was a quarter past the freckle, well past time for Giles to be here.
Sighing heavily to express her boredom Anya left the counter and moved to the large front window. Pushing up the blinds that covered the glass she looked out on to the street. In the glow that emanated from the street lights Anya could see the fronts of other stores along the street and a few people walking in to and out of the circles of light dotting the sidewalk. She lowered the blinds again but wondered if she might spot Giles and raised them again. Still the Watcher that the party was waiting on was not on the street. Maybe once more she would look; the third time was the charm. Again Anya looked hopefully out the window and again Anya was disappointed because there was no tweed encased Briton walking up the street.
Anya had spent the day, when not attending to the needs of customers, making sure that all of the books were balanced, that all of the merchandise was fully stocked, tidying up everything, and worrying that Giles would be disappointed in her. He had left her in charge of the Magic Box but it was still Giles’ store. He could take back guardianship of his store if he wanted, so everything needed to be even better than perfect. He could fire her if things were not up to standard. Horror of horrors, Giles wouldn’t do that, would he? She didn’t know what he would do now that he was back on a more permanent basis.
Giles had come back when he’d gotten the call from Willow that Buffy had been raised from the grave. He’d been overjoyed to see her alive. But he hadn’t stayed very long because he would come back to Sunnydale for good. Now Anya hadn’t really been managing the Magic Box for very long on her own, but still she worried that Giles wouldn’t find her management skills up to par. Really it was useless worry but that does not ever stop the worrier from their duties of worrying.
Walking away from the window Anya sat on a step of the ladder leading up to the little loft where the more dangerous books were kept. Sighing as she sat Anya tapped her nails on the railing in a staccato beat. Moving from rapping her finger nails to drumming her fingers Anya thought she just might explode from the tension; it had happened to other people before, of course usually after a wish was made to Anyanka the vengeance demon. Finally she broke the silence, which had begun to get deafening, by asking, “Shouldn’t he be here by now?”
did i mention this application template was created by JESSICA. She was bored, and felt inspired. So yeah, credit is due where it is due. She goes by GAGA @ CAUTION. Not that it matters since she rarely posts anything there.
