A New Yorker born and raised, Milwaukee is a pretty new experience to Ash. He's been in the city for a couple of months, but he's still feeling sorta out of place without any of his friends are family nearby to rely on for support. Not that he'd tell anybody that! No way. Ash is very much an island. Or... at least he tries to be. It's tricky sometimes. Or... a lot of the time. But he gets by. Sort of.

In the police force for close to a decade, Ash is good at what he does. Dedicated and surprisingly professional when he has to be, he's trying to focus on the work thing right now so as not to let the whole "fish out of water" stuff bother him too much. For all the good that'll do, he was never much of a professionally focused kinda guy. He lives for fun and goofing off, not knuckling down.

Outside of work, he's a pretty fun guy to be around. Funny, relatively charming and even pretty nice from time to time (when he's taking a break from the asshole thing) he can be good company under the right circumstances. Particularly if he's around girls. 'cause... Ash likes girls. A lot. A lot a lot. He was pretty promiscuous back in NY, that was the reason he opted to transfer to a new PD. Lately, he'd trying to get a handle on that, but it's hard. He's too used to listening to the downstairs brain!

Ash is taken in terms of romantic stuffs, but friends sounds good! He's not exactly camera shy, so dealing with the media isn't something he finds difficult. Usually that involves sleeping with reporters and stuff, but since that's not really an option here due to his taken nature and all, they could do the friends thing, that'd work great.

A fellow New Yorker! Well, Ash'd love to talk to him just to have someone to reminisce with, plus he's a big fan of video games, due to the whole... slacking off thing, so that would go down well!

I'm sure Ash'd enjoy talking with her and stuff. He's a bit of a jerk sometimes, but he can really appreciate genuine niceness, and he'd probably find himself feeling pretty good about Novalee pretty quickly. They could definitely do the friends thing.

Tatyana & Ash

Given that Taty has had her troubles with the police, I'm thinking that they could know each other through her 'criminal' activities. So with that, they'd probably be friend types on a criminal/police kind of way. Perhaps be a contact for Ash in his investigations or simply someone he knows for having arrested once before for something...more then likely indecent exposure or something. Feel free to offer up more ideas if you have any. =D

And yes, I'm being lazy and not switching accounts...sue me? xD

Well that sounds good, but the thing is, Ash is a Homicide Detective, so unless she's involved with a lot of murders, I don't really think he'd ever deal with her in a professional capacity.

But the second bit makes sense, he coulda bumped into her at the station and struck up a conversation, maybe thought she was kinda fun. Because fun is good!
